Growing up in the 90s was awesome. Seriously. Saved by the Bell, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Full House, Friends… all have iconic theme songs (that you’ll now be singing for the rest of the day. You’re welcome.). You hear one of these songs start to play and you immediately know the show, its themes, and feel all the feels your favorite episodes evoke.

When I think of theme songs, I also think of Winnie the Pooh – and Tigger, too!  Both had individual themes; Tigger was even brave enough to sing his as an introduction.

Winnie’s Theme:

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh,

Chubby, little cubby all stuffed with fluff.

He’s Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh,

Willy, nilly, silly old bear.

Tigger’s Theme:

The wonderful thing about tiggers

Is tiggers are wonderful things!

Their tops are made out of rubber

Their bottoms are made out of springs!

They’re bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy

Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!

But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is

I’m the only one…. I’m the only one.

What is your theme song? What comes across as you meet someone new? What is that one thing that makes you unique; the only one of your kind? What feelings do others have when they think of you? What do you want them to think? Take a few minutes to think of your theme song and follow Tigger’s model: OWN IT.

Don’t be afraid to let others know what makes you special.
